A quick guide to Gothenburg, Sweden

Let me tell u a little about my hometown Gothenburg, Sweden. Gothenburg is the second biggest city in Sweden with its 600.000 inhabitants. Located on the beautiful west cost, with its archipelago close by, the city is often referred as little London. The weather is best from April to September and the summer temperature is on average 20-25 degrades Celsius. In the winter the temperature can get down to about -15 degrades Celsius, but on average +-0. You have lots of golfing, sunbathing and sailing opportunities, but no skiing to talk about this far south of Sweden.
In the center of the city we have Scandinavians biggest amusement park, Liseberg. The park is always open but the rides are closed in the winter. Here you find everything from rollercoaster’s to nice restaurants. The city is well known by its friendly people and cafés. Haga is one of the oldest and nicest neighborhoods to take a coffee or a beer on a clear fall day..
Gothenburg has a lot of really good restaurants and especially sea food restaurants. Two of the best are the West pier and Avalon. Hope you enjoyed this small guide..
